EBC Black Dash Brake Discs for Chrysler 300C, Dodge Challenger, Charger, Magnum and Lancia Thema 3.0 CRD, 3.5, 3.6 and 5.7 (rear axle)
The friction surface of the Black Dash brake rotor is slotted.
The additional grooving was dispensed with in order to be able to offer a sports brake rotor with quiet running characteristics.
The milled slots ensure that brake gases, abrasion, dirt and water can be almost completely removed from the friction surface of the brake rotors.
Furthermore, the slots ensure even and parallel wear of the brake pads over the entire lifetime.
The black powder coating of the Black Dash rotors enables the best possible corrosion protection and is particularly suitable for vehicles with an open rim design.
Advantages and disadvantages at a glance:
+ Very good cooling due to milled slots
+ Very good removal of gases, dirt, water, etc.
+ Best possible corrosion protection due to powder coating
+ No danger due to heat cracks, as not drilled
+ Even wear of the brake pads over the complete service life
+ Lower noise level
- Less cooling than the Turbo Groove rotor, as it is not grooved
