Electronic Module to Disable the Original Exhaust Flaps Control
If you want to remove the active exhaust flaps of your Dodge or Chrysler, you need this simulator to avoid the check engine light (most often the error codes U113F and U1140 are filed).
Other options on the market are purely mechanical and require the continued use of the actuators and their mounting on an additional plate.
Installation:
1: Get under the vehicle and disconnect the plugs of the two active exhaust flaps.
2: Plug in the Inactive Exhaust Module. Secure them with a cable tie.
3: Done. You can leave the actuators in place if you have a standard system and only want the flaps open all the time. Or you can remove them completely.
Ideal for those who:
- only want the flaps permanently open
- want to remove or deactivate the " rattling exhaust flaps" as they often have problems with disturbing noises
- have defective actuators and do not want to bear the (high) costs for their replacement
- want to install an aftermarket exhaust and remove the valves completely
This kit consists of:
- An automotive-grade microprocessor exhaust module that communicates with the vehicle and fools it into thinking that the valves are installed and functioning properly.
- Waterproof dummy plugs that protect the plugs from corrosion
Fits Chrysler 300C, Dodge Challenger and Charger from 2015.
Delivery includes:
- 1 kit for both flaps
1 kit is required per vehicle.
