With the Tazer programming device from Z Automotive, many functions can be activated, deactivated and adjusted via the OBD connection
Activate functions:
- Activation of the manufacturer's Sport mode (5-speed and 8-speed transmission. Model years 2012 - 2017)
- SRT Performance Pages in EVIC and navigation system (only possible with Uconnect 8.4 from 2012 to 2017)
- Activate shift paddles (when converting to an original steering wheel with paddles)
- Activate fog lights (if installed but not activated)
- Activate reversing camera (if retrofitted)
- Activate shift light for 2015 6-speed manual transmissions
Line Lock function:
By pressing 2 steering wheel buttons while the vehicle is stationary, the front brakes are locked via the ABS and you can perform a simple, controlled burnout by accelerating without putting any load on the rear brakes, as is always the case with a "normal" burnout.
In contrast to classic line lock kits, no conversion work on the vehicle or brake system is necessary.
Lightshow:
Indicators, headlights, fog lights, brake lights and tail lights flash.
This function is only intended for show purposes and only works when the vehicle is stationary. It cannot be activated while driving.
Steering wheel gearshift:
This function allows you to change gear manually on the steering wheel using the Cruise +/- buttons, in a similar way to shift paddles.
Can be switched on and off at any time.
Auto Upshift:
Set your own shift points in Autostick mode. To be able to use this function, Sport mode must be activated (model years 2012 to 2014). Not for 8-speed transmission.
Maximum speed display:
Displays the maximum speed after each shift. Helpful when searching for the ideal shift point (when setting the Auto Upshift values).
0-30 mph and 0-60 mph stopwatch:
Also works with 2011 models where Performacne Pages cannot be activated
Force AWD Mode:
This function allows you to decide for yourself whether the vehicle should drive in rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive instead of letting it regulate the setting itself.
Particularly suitable for drifting and on the race track. Can be switched on and off at any time.
Reset Adaptives:
This can be used to reset the adaptation values of the gearbox control unit.
ESP full ON / OFF:
Complete activation of the ESP, e.g. for the race track.
The device can be updated with the software available for download via the USB port.
Fits:
Chrysler 300 | 2011 – 2023* |
Dodge Charger | 2011 – 2023* |

Important: All changes are functions that are already available in the vehicle ex works, but are not always activated.
As the software versions in the vehicles differ and changes sometimes occur as part of updates, we cannot guarantee that all functions can be set / activated as described in every vehicle.
If a function has not been stored ex works, it cannot be activated.

As expected, everything was fine! I would order again immediately. Installed and initialized within a few minutes in my MY16 Dodge Challenger SRT 392. I ordered the device together with the bypass and put it in the trunk because I didn't want to get my foot anywhere near the device with my manually shifted transmission.
