89 degree thermostat for lower coolant temperature / engine temperature and more efficient combustion
The original thermostat opens at 95 degrees.
To further improve engine cooling, we recommend adjusting the fan control in addition to the thermostat.
Without adjustment, the cooling water temperature drops while driving due to the wind, but it drops significantly less when stationary and when driving slowly.
By adjusting the fan control, the switch-on temperatures of the electric fans are reduced so that the cooling water temperature remains permanently low even when driving slowly and when stationary.
