One-piece heat shield
The included solid air filter is surrounded by a lightweight, black powder-coated 5052-H32 aluminium heat shield that counteracts the suction of hot air from the engine compartment for maximum performance.

Intake pipe
A lightweight, high-gloss carbon fibre tube directs filtered air from the air cleaner to the engine, eliminating the factory muffler chamber. It has been computer designed and tested to increase airflow while reducing weight and enhancing the visual appearance of the engine bay. It features an aluminium connection for the original breather hose and a built-in resonance chamber to reduce unwanted noise from the intake system without eliminating its deep sound.

Large 5-layer performance air filter
This 6 3/4″ high 360 degree radial air filter is made of 5 layers of progressively tighter mesh cotton filter material which is wetted with a special filter oil and can be washed out.

High quality installation hardware
Stainless steel worm drive clamps and a reinforced silicone hose ensure stability and durability as well as safe and easy assembly. Black Series intake systems are designed with as few parts as possible to ensure quick and easy installation.
