Touring Edition Axleback Exhaust Systems

The AWE Touring Edition Axleback is a 3-inch T304L stainless steel construction with AWE's proprietary drone-cancelling feature, 180 Technology®.

The Touring Edition offers the ultimate experience for drivers who want to unleash the power of the 6.2L while maintaining drone-free interior acoustics at cruising speeds. Equipped with 180 Technology®, the Touring Edition responds spontaneously to the throttle and remains tame until provoked by the driver.

The Touring Edition Axleback comes complete with overaxle pipes, rear 180 Technology® resonators, four double-walled 4.5″ tips in chrome silver or diamond black and all the mounting hardware required for installation.

Perfect sound: 180 Technology® from AWE

As exhaust gases exit the Corvette's 6.2L engine and flow into a muffler equipped with AWE 180 Technology®, they enter reflection chambers through strategically placed openings. The sound waves carried by the exhaust bounce off the walls of the reflection chambers. By controlling the size and location of the openings and the chambers, we also control when the sound waves exit the chambers. The specific timing at which the reflected sound waves rejoin the main exhaust stream achieves a sound wave that is one hundred and eighty degrees out of phase, cancelling out problematic frequencies. Call it science, call it magic, or call it 180 Technology® from AWE.

Track Edition Axleback Exhaust Systems

Raw, rowdy and light. The AWE Track Edition Axleback is the perfect dose of steel for riders looking for the loudest exhaust ever.

Retaining the 3-inch diameter T304L stainless steel construction, the Track Edition Axleback mirrors all the precision engineering and perfect fit of its Touring Edition counterpart, but without the 180 Technology®. Instead, the Track Edition features straight pipes without silencers to let it rip.

Important notice:

The Track Edition is not for the faint-hearted. You don't even need to think about whether the system might be registrable. You will leave a lasting impression in every traffic control.

AFM valve simulators
(required for the Corvette Stingray / Z51 Auto / Z51 Manual (2014-2016) / Grand Sport Auto):

• Provides a worry-free solution for removing AFM valves from the exhaust tract without causing a CEL

The AWE AFM valve simulators allow vehicles with AFM valves to be fitted with AWE Axleback exhausts without worrying about the check engine light. Vehicles without AFM valves do not need the AFM valve simulators. Simply remove the AFM valve motors from the factory exhaust, screw them onto the AWE AFM valve simulator and securely attach them to the vehicle.

Once installed, AFM valve motors retain their factory function and keep your vehicle's ECU happy.

AWE AFM valve simulators come as a set of two and require the use of the original actuators to attach the AFM motor to the AWE valve simulator plate.

Tip options:

All tips are finished with the AWE logo and double wrapping to ensure a mirror-like finish even under hard use. All tips are individually adjustable so that the depth in the bumper can be set to personal taste.
