AWE Exhaust System for Ford Mustang GT & Bullitt

Unique sound: AWE prides itself on its signature deep and aggressive sound, developed specifically for the Ford Mustang GT. The sound emphasises the natural roar of the engine and is enhanced by the specially designed pipework.

Increased performance: In addition to enhancing the sound, the exhaust system also supports the performance of the vehicle by reducing the exhaust back pressure. This can lead to both improved throttle response and a slight increase in performance.

Accuracy of fit: The exhaust system is precisely matched to the 2018+ Ford Mustang GT (S550) and is easy to fit. It requires no modifications and is compatible with most aftermarket accessories.

Note: Vehicles with the optional "Active Valve Performance exhaust system" must also have the AWE bracket for exhaust flaps (actuators) can be purchased to avoid a check engine light. 

Touring Edition Exhaust System
The Touring Edition is a full-length, 3-inch stainless steel exhaust that delivers optimum performance without booming throughout the rev range. With a precision-machined H-pipe and AWE's patented drone-cancelling solution, 180 Technology®, the Touring Edition exhaust system delivers a deep, rich engine sound.

Perfect sound, thanks to AWE 180 Technology®.

When the exhaust gases leave the engine and flow into a resonator equipped with AWE 180 Technology®, they are channelled through strategically placed openings into reflection chambers. The sound waves carried by the exhaust gases bounce off the walls of the reflection chambers. By controlling the size and position of the openings and the chambers, we also control when the sound waves exit the chambers. The specific time at which the reflected sound waves re-enter the main exhaust stream creates a sound wave that is one hundred and eighty degrees out of phase, cancelling out problematic frequencies.

Track Edition Exhaust System
For those who like it rough and uncouth, the Track Edition is just the thing. The Track Edition features the same integrated H-pipe and precision engineering as the Touring Edition, but without AWE's patented 180 Technology® to suppress drone.

The 180 Technology® resonators in the rear are replaced by the straight sections of the Track Edition. As a result, this version is known to get (really) aggressive under mid-range acceleration and deceleration and can be too loud for many. You have been warned.

Conversion Kits

AWE has made it easy to convert between Track and Touring Editions should you decide to change your volume at a later date.

Tip Options:

The Touring Edition exhaust systems and the Track Edition exhaust systems are available with double-walled 5-inch tailpipes in diamond black or chrome silver.
