Touring Edition Axleback exhaust systems

The AWE Touring Edition Axleback is a 3-inch T304L stainless steel construction with AWE's proprietary drone canceling feature, 180 Technology®.

The Touring Edition offers the ultimate experience for drivers who want to unleash the power of the 6.2L while wanting drone-free interior acoustics at cruising speeds. The Touring Edition equipped with 180 Technology® reacts spontaneously to the accelerator pedal and remains tame until provoked by the driver.

The Touring Edition Axleback comes complete with over-axle tubes, 180 Technology® rear resonators, four 4.5″ double-wall tailpipes in Chrome Silver or Diamond Black, and all hardware required for installation.

Perfect sound: 180 Technology® from AWE

As exhaust gases exit the Corvette's 6.2L engine and flow into a muffler equipped with AWE 180 Technology®, they pass through strategically placed openings into reflection chambers. The sound waves carried by the exhaust gases bounce off the walls of the reflection chambers. By controlling the size and location of the openings and chambers, we also control when the sound waves exit the chambers. The specific time at which the reflected sound waves re-enter the main exhaust stream achieves a sound wave that is one hundred and eighty degrees out of phase, canceling out problematic frequencies. Call it science, call it magic, or call it 180 Technology® by AWE.

Track Edition Axleback exhaust systems

Raw, rowdy and light. The AWE Track Edition Axleback is the perfect dose of steel for riders looking for the loudest exhaust ever.

Retaining the 3-inch diameter T304L stainless steel construction, the Track Edition Axleback mirrors all of the precision engineering and perfect fit of its Touring Edition counterpart, albeit without the 180 Technology®. Instead, the Track Edition features straight pipes without mufflers to let it rip.

Important NOTE:

The Track Edition is not for the faint of heart. You don't even need to think about whether the system could be registered. You will leave a lasting impression in every traffic stop.

AFM valve simulators
(required for the Corvette Stingray / Z51 Auto / Z51 Manual (2014-2016) / Grand Sport Auto):

The AWE AFM valve simulators allow vehicles with AFM valves to be equipped with AWE axleback exhausts without having to worry about the check engine light. Vehicles without AFM valves do not need the AFM valve simulators. Simply remove the AFM valve motors from the factory exhaust, screw them onto the AWE AFM valve simulator and securely attach them to the vehicle.

Once installed, AFM valve motors maintain their factory functionality and keep your vehicle's ECU happy.

AWE AFM valve simulators come as a set of two and require the use of the original actuators to attach the AFM motor to the AWE valve simulator plate.

Tailpipe options:

All tailpipes feature the AWE logo and a double coating to ensure a mirror finish even under heavy use. All tailpipes are individually adjustable so that the depth in the bumper can be adjusted to suit personal taste.
