Black Out heat protection for Chevrolet Corvette C8

The design of the C8 is a work of art with breathtaking body lines and super sports car-level performance.
Nevertheless, there are areas where the aesthetics can still be improved.
Heat shields have been fitted throughout the engine bay and exhaust system of the C8 to protect the vehicle from the excessive heat generated by the V8 engine. Behind the rear wheels, GM has used heat-reflective material to reduce heat build-up, which contrasts with the otherwise beautiful lines of the C8 rear apron.
The Black Out heat shield replaces GM's reflective heat shield film with an additional layer of black heat shielding that eliminates the eye-catcher behind the C8 exhaust cutout.
