BORLA® ATAK® (Acoustically Tuned Applied Kinetics) exhaust systems are designed for high-performance purists who prefer to listen to the exhaust of their Corvette C8 rather than the stereo system.

ATAK® exhaust systems deliver the highest dB values among the various Borla systems without compromising on sound quality, as is often the case with other loud exhaust systems.

The ATAK® technology is based on specially matched properties of the silencer cores, which are individually tuned to each vehicle type in order to achieve the best sound.

Super aggressive, beefy, loud US car sound. The system is definitely too loud for registration - but the vehicle has the sound that the true enthusiast expects.

Borla sports exhaust systems are manufactured from high-alloy stainless steels of the T304 series in accordance with the American AISI standard.

Developing exhaust systems for the C8 Corvette presented BORLA® engineers with unique challenges, but the team was up to the challenge. Great care was taken to ensure the functionality and reliability of the system and the vehicle itself.
Part number 140839CF includes both AFM and NPP dual mode exhaust valves.
The ATAK sound level is Borla's most aggressive level. This exhaust offers a more exciting driving experience without droning. It features the Polyphonic Harmonizer and SwitchFire™ technology.
BORLA®'s Polyphonic Harmonizer Technology uses patented units containing tubes of different diameters and lengths to create multiple exhaust tones that harmonize with each other to deliver a clean, rich and full sound.
BORLA®'s patented SwitchFire™ design eliminates the center, turbulent intersection of a standard X-pipe and combines the combustion impulses from both sides of the engine for improved performance and a customized sound.
An intelligently positioned heat shield prevents heat damage to the exhaust and protects your Corvette.
The exhaust system is supplied with 4-inch carbon tailpipes with bright core elements and is also available in Bright Chrome on T-304 stainless steel tailpipes (part number 140839) or Black Chrome on T-304 stainless steel tailpipes (part number 140839BC).
The sports exhaust system is made of T-304 stainless steel.
The system is supplied in 2 boxes.

Note: After installation of the BORLA® system, the control units for the AFM and NPP valves in the exhaust system should be recalibrated in accordance with GM document ID 5406413. BORLA® recommends that you take your vehicle to your nearest Chevrolet dealer to have the exhaust valves recalibrated.
