Clean your filter in just 3 easy steps:

Remove the filter from your vehicle and clean it:
Clean the sealing area of ​​your filter and filter housing with a clean, soft rag. Do not start your vehicle without the filter installed. Shake the filter or tap it lightly on a hard surface to remove and loosen large particles and debris. A soft brush can be used to loosen larger spills or bugs. Pay attention to which side of the filter the dirt has settled on. Clean the filter with S&B filter cleaner. Allow it to soak for 10 minutes and then rinse with low pressure tap water. Allow the filter to air dry.

Fill the applicator bottle with the correct amount of oil:
Turn the oil bottle cap side down. When re-oiling a filter, it is important to add the oil to the side where dirt accumulates. Using the applicator bottle, place a drop of oil on the tip of each fold where it meets the urethane (rubber).

Allow the oil to absorb for 20-30 minutes, then apply the remaining oil to the white areas and reinsert the air filter:
After letting the oil drain for 20-30 minutes, check the filter for white spots that have not been covered by the oil. Using the remaining oil in the applicator, apply a small amount of oil to these white areas. Applying the correct amount of oil (+5ram) is critical for the filter to function properly. Do not over-oil your filter!
