Cometic 5 Layer Cylinder Head Gaskets 5.7 Hemi for Chrysler 300C, Dodge Challenger, Charger, Durango Magnum, Jeep Commander, Grand Cherokee and RAM
Cometic MLX gaskets are made of several layers of stainless steel because of its higher strength, resilience and corrosion resistance.
The outer layers of the seals are embossed and coated on both sides with Viton - a material based on fluoroelastomer rubber that is heat resistant up to 250 °C. Viton is designed to meet the requirements of a wide range of harsh sealing environments, loading conditions and surface finishes.
The middle layer or interlayer is an uncoated stainless steel layer that folds back on itself to form the locking part of the bore seal.

- 2 cylinder head gaskets, 0.052″ gasket thickness, 4.000″ bore

NOTE: We strongly recommend the use of ARP head bolts to install these multi-layer cylinder head gaskets.
