With DBA's Kangaroo Paw ventilation, which incorporates a series of 144 diamond and teardrop shaped elements, DBA achieves up to 30 % more surface area and 20 % improved cooling efficiency (compared to a conventional straight fin design).

The 4000 SERIES T3 is the ultimate one-piece replacement brake disc with all the advantages of the 4000 series and the patented, well-known bi-directional T3 slot design from DBA.

Building on the foundations of DBA's T2 slot, the T3 slot design features additional precision CNC-machined trisymmetrical slots, resulting in an even quieter, more responsive and smoother brake pedal feel.
The T3 slot increases the number of exit points for brake pad friction dust and gases to escape through, further increasing the uniformity and efficiency of each braking operation.
