EBC Black Dash brake discs for Chrysler 300C, Dodge Challenger, Charger, Magnum and Lancia Thema 3.0 CRD, 3.5, 3.6 and 5.7 (front axle)
The friction surface of the Black Dash brake disc is slotted.
The additional groove was omitted in order to be able to offer a sports brake disc with quiet running properties.
The milled slots ensure that the resulting brake gases, abrasion, dirt and water can be almost completely removed from the friction surface of the brake discs.
Furthermore, the slots ensure even and parallel wear of the brake pads over their entire service life.
The black powder coating of the Black Dash Discs provides the best possible corrosion protection and is particularly suitable for vehicles with an open rim design.
Advantages and disadvantages at a glance:
+ very good cooling thanks to milled slots
+ very good removal of gases, dirt, water etc.
+ best possible corrosion protection through powder coating
+ no risk of heat cracks as it is not drilled
+ even wear of the brake pads over their entire service life
+ lower noise
– lower cooling than the Turbo Groove Disc because it is not grooved
