The anti-roll kit is manufactured from cold-formed spring steel wire for high-precision performance and coated with a durable powder paint finish.
- By means of the stabilisers, the lateral forces, such as the centrifugal forces, are controlled in the undercarriage system.
- This reduces the rolling and rolling movements - and thus the lateral inclination - during cornering and other rapid changes of direction.
- The system starts with one-sided deflection and then adds the spring and stabiliser rates.
- During cornering and similar situations, the stabilisers move the vehicle's centre of gravity (CoG) back towards the ideal centre.
- Likewise, the load differences between the outer and inner wheel of the curve are reduced
- Ideally, this all results in a driving experience 'similar to being on rails'.
- With simultaneous compression on both sides, the anti-roll bars remain neutral and the original suspension characteristics unchanged
- By means of stabilisers, the self-steering behaviour of the vehicle - i.e. understeer or oversteer - can also be influenced.
