Ford Performance M-6766-A50 oil separator for Ford Mustang GT / Shelby GT350 / Boss 302 / F-150 passenger side

This oil separator is a must for anyone who wants to keep their engine clean.
This Oil Catch Can is installed on the passenger side of the engine.
Specially developed and designed for installation in engines of the Ford 5.0L/5.2L family.
All hoses and connections are used in OEM quality to ensure easy installation and perfect function.
The oil separator container should be emptied at regular intervals.

How does the system work?

When crankcase pressure is vented through the intake tract, large amounts of oil in the form of vapors are passed into the intake pipe and intake manifolds and even dilute the gasoline, lowering the octane rating.
This happens in all engines and is even more pronounced in vehicles with forced induction (supercharger and turbocharger) as the crankcase pressure is increased.
To counteract this, an oil separator was developed.
