Ford Performance M-6766-A50S oil separator for Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 driver's side

This oil separator is a must for anyone who wants to keep their engine clean.
This oil catch can is installed on the passenger side of the engine.
Specially developed and designed for installation in engines of the Ford 5.2L Coyote family.
All hoses and connections are used in OEM quality to ensure easy installation and perfect function.
The oil separator tank should be emptied at regular intervals.

How does the system work?

When the crankcase pressure is vented through the intake tract, large quantities of oil are fed into the intake manifold and intake manifolds in the form of vapors and even dilute the gasoline, causing the octane rating to drop.
This occurs in all engines and is even more pronounced in vehicles with forced charging (superchargers and turbochargers), as the crankcase pressure is increased.
An oil separator was developed to counteract this.
