- MAHLE Modern Muscle Super Power Pack forged piston made from 2618 aluminum
- upper ring offset downwards, made of moly or steel, depending on application
- Storage groove in the second bar
- Coated piston shirts
- Coated piston ring lands
- Compression between 10.0 and 10.8 (depending on cylinder head gasket)
- Molnar connecting rod
- ARP connecting rod screws and bolts

Due to the material properties and the larger piston clearance - especially when cold - the forged pistons have a different noise development, which affects the knock sensors.
It can happen that the knock sensors register "wrong" engine knocking, which affects the performance.
We strongly recommend adapting the engine software accordingly.
