GiroDisc 390 mm high-performance brake discs (2-piece) for Chrysler 300, Dodge Charger and Challenger SRT and Hellcat 2015 - 2020 with 6-piston Brembo brake system

The 390 mm GiroDisc "Demon Performance" brake discs are a direct replacement for the original brake discs on Chrysler 300C, Dodge Challenger and Charger SRT and Hellcat with 6-piston Brembo brake system from 2015. No modifications are necessary.
The front brake discs weigh 10.9 kg each compared to 15.1 kg for the original ones.
This reduction in rotating and unsprung weight by around 4 kg per wheel enables faster acceleration and better chassis response.

The centre section of the brake disc is made of 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminium, sourced exclusively from the USA.
The disc is made from cast iron, cast in the USA and machined from start to finish specifically for GiroDisc.
The brake discs feature a curved wing design developed in racing that acts as a centrifugal pump to force cooling air through the discs.

The friction rings and cup are floating, using 12 high-strength threaded bolts that have been cadmium-plated for long-lasting corrosion resistance. These bolts take the load of the braking operations while maintaining axial and radial clearance between the cup and the friction ring.
The bolts are fixed with grade 12 bolts and hardened washers. To prevent the brake discs from making noise when cold, they are mounted with noise-dampening spring washers on the rotor side that allow the brake disc to expand when heated but prevent the rattling and noise associated with floating brake discs. This floating mounting also allows the brake disc to centre itself between the pads.

If the GiroDisc brake discs need to be replaced due to wear, this does not require completely new brake discs.
It is sufficient to replace the friction ring, which is available separately. This will reduce the cost of brake wear in the long term.
