Granatelli 83 degree high flow thermostat for lower coolant temperature / engine temperature
The original thermostat opens at 95 degrees.
To further improve engine cooling, we recommend adjusting the fan control in addition to the thermostat.
Without adjustment, the cooling water temperature drops while driving due to the wind, but it drops significantly less when stationary and when driving slowly.
By adjusting the fan control, the switch-on temperatures of the electric fans are reduced so that the cooling water temperature remains permanently low even when driving slowly and when stationary. This ensures optimal cooling of the engine and prevents possible overheating.
Adjusting the fan control is possible, for example, with the Diablosport Trinity and inTune .
ram the engine control unit in-house without these devices , which is significantly cheaper.

Delivery includes:
– 83 degree thermostat
– gasket
Attention: since the gasket is included in the scope of delivery, you do not need to order the thermostat housing gasket separately!
The job of a standard thermostat is to regulate the temperature of the engine and maintain it within its ideal operating range to ensure the best performance and durability.
When the engine is cold, the wax inside the thermostat solidifies and the thermostat remains closed, preventing coolant from flowing through the engine. As the engine heats up, the wax begins to melt and expand, opening the thermostat valve and allowing coolant to flow through the engine. Once the engine has reached its optimal operating temperature, the wax in the thermostat has fully expanded and the valve remains open to maintain the desired temperature.
The wax thermostat is an efficient method of regulating engine temperature because it responds quickly to temperature changes and can adjust coolant flow accordingly. It is also durable and relatively low maintenance, making it a popular choice for automotive applications.

I can highly recommend Kraftwerk . I did an all-round sweep and replaced all the wearing parts for my Trackhawk + a small performance upgrade. The advice was great, delivery time as stated. I'm looking forward to the next upgrade.
