Description

Hawk Performance high performance ram brake pads HB194Z.570 for Dodge Challenger 6.4 SRT & Hellcat (rear axle)

Hawk understands the needs of today's ram brake pad users and has specifically formulated its composite material to meet and exceed its high noise and dust requirements.
Hawk PC (Performance Ce ram ic) brake pads are designed to reduce NVH (Noise, Vibration and Harshness) and deliver outstanding performance mile after mile.
The unique compound provides a linear friction profile that allows your Challenger's ABS system to work as effectively as possible and has the advantage of not sacrificing performance compared to traditional ram pads.
With Hawk's Performance ram brake pads, you can experience reduced brake pad wear, longer brake disc life and very low noise.

The Hawk Performance Ce ram ic is a great blend if your top priority is minimizing brake dust. This compound is a very popular replacement for OEM Brembo 6 piston brakes used in the Dodge Challenger.
If you don't want increased braking performance compared to stock and want to virtually eliminate brake dust, Hawk Performance ram Brake Pads are right for you.

Hawk brake pad installation procedure

  • Install the brake pads properly. Make sure the pads are securely seated in the brake caliper.
  • Flush the system with fresh brake fluid.
  • Inspect all hydraulic parts for excessive wear and tear.
  • Check the brake disc for correct thickness, parallelism and lateral concentricity.
  • Check the brake disc for scores or grooves deeper than 0.3 mm.
  • If both apply, you need to replace or replace the disc.
  • If the disc does not need to be replaced, the impurities from the previous brake pads must be removed. Sand the discs with sandpaper using moderate pressure. After grinding and processing, clean the surface of the disc with soap and water.
  • The discs should be free of oil, grease and brake fluid.
  • Check the brake calipers for freedom of movement. Lubricate them if necessary.

Hawk Brake Pad Embedding - Road Compounds

  • Brake from approximately 50-55 km/h to 10 km/h 6-10 times while applying moderate pressure. Don't come to a standstill.
  • Carry out another 2 to 3 harder brakes from approx. 65-70 km/h to a standstill.
  • DON'T STAND ON THE BRAKES! (Do not leave your foot on the brake pedal after stopping).
  • Allow the brake system to cool for 15 minutes or more.
  • Your new Hawk pads are now ready for use.
