Electronic module for deactivating the original exhaust flaps
If you want to remove the active exhaust flaps on your Dodge or Chrysler, you will need this simulator to avoid the check engine light (usually error codes U113F and U1140 are filed).
Other options on the market are purely mechanical and require the actuators to be reused and mounted on an additional plate.
Installation:
1: Get under the vehicle and disconnect the plugs of the two active exhaust flaps.
2: Plug in the Inactive Exhaust Module. Secure them with a cable tie.
3: Done. You can leave the servomotors in place if you have a standard system and only want the flaps open all the time. Or you can remove them completely.
Ideal for those who:
- only want to have the flaps permanently open
- want to remove or deactivate the "rattling exhaust flaps", as they often have problems with disturbing noises
- have defective servomotors and do not want to bear the (high) costs of replacing them
- want to install an aftermarket exhaust and remove the valves completely
This kit consists of:
- an exhaust module with an automotive-grade microprocessor that communicates with the vehicle and tricks it into believing that the valves are installed and working properly
- Waterproof dummy plugs that protect the plugs from corrosion
Suitable for Chrysler 300C, Dodge Challenger and Charger from 2015.
Delivery includes:
- 1 kit for both angas flaps
1 kit per vehicle is required.
