Oil Catch Can in solid aluminum design for Chrysler 300C

How does the system work?
When crankcase pressure is vented through the intake tract, large amounts of oil in the form of vapors are passed into the intake pipe and intake manifolds and even dilute the gasoline, lowering the octane rating.
This happens in all engines and is even more pronounced in vehicles with forced induction (supercharger and turbocharger) as the crankcase pressure is increased.
To counteract this, an oil catch can with its own design was developed.
Machined from solid billet aluminum, it's a rock solid piece. It features a knurled container base that makes it easy to drain used oil and an O-ring seal that prevents leaks.
The filtration consists of a fine-mesh aluminum mesh that captures fine oil vapors and releases them once they are heavy enough to fall.
If the oil passes through the filter, it is too heavy to be passed into the intake tract.

Notes:
- 5.7 Hemi without a damper box on the intake pipe or with an accessory intake do not require an additional bracket
- 5.7 Hemi without a damper box on the intake pipe or with an accessory intake can also use the Z-mount , but the engine cover will no longer fit
- 5.7 Hemi with damper box on the left of the intake pipe and Shaker also require the fender bracket
- 6.1 SRT do not require an additional mount, but can also use the Z mount
- 6.4 SRT up to 2014 do not require an additional mount, but can also use the Z mount
