Fits:
Manufacturer | Model | Execution | Car body | Fuel | Performance | Displacement | Cylinder | Drive |
CHEVROLET | CORVETTE (C8) 07/2019- | 6.2 | Coupe | Gasoline | 354 KW | 6162 cc | 8 | Rear-wheel drive |
CHEVROLET | CORVETTE (C8) 07/2019- | 6.2 | Coupe | Gasoline | 365 KW | 6162 cc | 8 | Rear-wheel drive |
CHEVROLET | CORVETTE (C8) 07/2019- | 6.2 | Coupe | Gasoline | 369 KW | 6162 cc | 8 | Rear-wheel drive |
Conditions / notes:
- VA + HA height-adjustable (threaded struts)
- On vehicles with electronic damper control, this must be deactivated. Vehicle-specific KW deactivation kits can be found in the accessories table.
- Shock absorbers have easy-to-use adjustment wheels. Due to the design, the rebound stage can only be adjusted when the piston rod is accessible.
- Aluminum struts (no Inox-line)
KW V5 coilover suspension
With the new KW V5 coilover suspension, KW relies on its successful motorsport suspension technology with displacement pistons (KW Solid Piston Technology) and modular as well as series-connected damper valves.
The KW V5 coilover suspension convinces in sports cars and super sports cars with precise and fast damping without time delay. Even with short suspension travel, steering movements and minimal road bumps, the dampers and valves react directly. Every driving maneuver and every impulse, such as those that occur during braking, acceleration, steering, load changes and bumps, are damped much more precisely. The displacement piston dampers support the vehicle body more optimally than conventional dampers and, depending on the vehicle body, lower spring rates can also be used.
Setup - factory pre-configured damper setup with separate 4-way damper setting
In contrast to vibration dampers with overflowed working pistons, KW uses a valve arrangement separate from the damper inner tube and piston rod in coilover suspensions and dampers with displacement piston design (KW Solid Piston Technology).
The low and high-speed valve units in the KW V5 coilover suspension, which are built in series with different valve spring types and main valves, offer the freedom to individually adjust the compression and rebound damping with 13 exact clicks (14 characteristic curves) in the low-speed and high-speed range. The KW displacement technology (KW Solid Piston Technology) also allows a large force range to be covered in the characteristic curve design, thus enabling a completely new type of harmonious damping.
Stepless lowering
The KW V3 Clubsport coilover suspension allows maximum or individual lowering within the tested adjustment range. Thanks to the dirt-resistant trapezoidal thread and the polyamide thread ring, the stepless lowering can be varied quickly and easily even after years.
The benchmark for coilovers
As with all KW coilover suspensions, the KW engineers develop the vehicle-specific KW damper tuning, which is appreciated by car enthusiasts worldwide, in extensive test cycles on the Nürburgring Nordschleife and in the test center on the KW 7-post driving dynamics test bench. With a KW coilover suspension you experience your car more directly and dynamically.
After all, you are not buying just any coilover suspension, but a KW coilover suspension that has been specially developed and tuned for your vehicle type. As a manufacturer, KW only uses its own resources, high-quality components and the same damper technology as mass-produced manufacturers. With the KW V1, the rolling and pitching movements of the vehicle body are reduced during compression, allowing you to benefit from unadulterated directness and sportier handling when driving.
Experience for your driving pleasure
For over 20 years, KW has been the market leader and innovation driver for individual suspension solutions for the road and in racing. No matter where in the world, sporty drivers, car manufacturers and tuners rely on our KW coilovers "Made in Germany".
Each KW coilover suspension is subjected to extensive load tests during production and is developed and manufactured directly at the company headquarters in Fichtenberg, Swabia, in order to meet the high standards of KW quality management.
As a German manufacturer, it is a matter of course for KW to provide a multi-year warranty on its KW coilover suspension kits, which exceed OEM quality and cover over 4,600 applications.
