KW V5 Coilover Suspension

Setup – factory preconfigured damping setup with separate 4-way damper adjustment

In contrast to vibration dampers with overflowed working pistons, KW uses a valve arrangement that is separate from the damper inner tube and piston rod for coilovers and dampers with a displacement piston design (KW Solid Piston Technology).

The low- and high-speed valve units in the KW V5 coilover suspension, which are built in series with different valve spring types and main valves, offer the freedom to individually adjust the compression and rebound damping with 13 precise clicks (14 characteristic curves) in the low-speed and high-speed range. The KW displacement technology (KW Solid Piston Technology) can also cover a large force range when designing the characteristic curve; to enable a completely new type of harmonious damping.

Continuous lowering

The KW V3 Clubsport coilover suspension enables maximum or individual lowering within the tested adjustment range. Thanks to the dirt-resistant trapezoidal thread and the polyamide threaded ring, the stepless lowering can be varied quickly and easily even after years.
