In contrast to vibration dampers with overflowing working pistons, KW uses a valve arrangement separate from the damper inner tube and piston rod in coilovers and dampers with displacement piston design (KW Solid Piston Technology).

The low and high-speed valve units in the KW V5 coilover suspension, which are set up in series with various valve spring types and main valves, offer the freedom to individually adjust the compression and rebound damping with 13 exact clicks (14 characteristics) each in the low-speed and high-speed range. KW Solid Piston Technology also allows a wide range of forces to be covered when designing the characteristic curves, thus enabling a completely new type of harmonious damping.

Stepless Lowering

The KW V3 Clubsport coilover suspension allows maximum or individual lowering in the tested adjustment range. Thanks to the dirt-resistant trapezoidal thread and the polyamide threaded ring, the stepless lowering can be varied quickly and easily even after years.
