KW V4 coilover kit

 

The KW V4 coilover suspension combines leading racing technology with a significant increase in everyday suitability for numerous high-performance vehicles.
This allows independent adjustment of the rebound damping as well as the low-speed and high-speed compression damping.
KW delivers the V4 coilover suspension with a vehicle-specific performance setting.
Thanks to the adjustable dampers, drivers can – if necessary – quickly switch to a comfort setting intuitively using the integrated adjustment wheels on the damper.

 

Setup – factory preconfigured damping setup with separate 3-way damper adjustment

 

The three-way adjustable high-performance dampers with their independent adjustment of the rebound using the “TVR-A” technology as well as the low-speed and high-speed compression damping using the “TVCLH-A” technology are based on the successful racing technology of the multiple overall winner the ADAC Zurich 24h Race Nürburgring and are supported by aluminum support bearings, depending on the vehicle-specific version. The KW V4 coilover suspension is developed exclusively for selected high-performance vehicles, which can be moved more safely at the limits of driving dynamics thanks to the sophisticated KW suspension technology.

 

 

TVR-A rebound damping:
The two-stage patented "TVR-A" technology allows the low volume flows to flow through an adjustable conical low-speed bypass at slow damper speeds and the main rebound valve to open for the large volume flows at higher piston speeds. This creates a significant increase in driving comfort without affecting the high speed in the safety-relevant area. There are 16 precise clicks available for individual adjustment, so you can choose between more comfort or more assembly control.

TVC-A compression damping:
With 12 precise clicks, the adjustable compression valve (“TVC-A” technology) can reduce or increase the cross-section in the low-speed valve to achieve more or less compression damping. At the same time, the spring-loaded needle valve opens its maximum valve cross-section together with the spring-loaded main valve at sudden high piston speeds in order to prevent unwanted progressive increases in force in the high-speed range with its blow-off characteristic. This makes it possible to better support the vehicle body and at the same time offer more comfort at high wheel accelerations than with conventional valve technology. The compression damping adjustment is always delivered in conjunction with a separate rebound adjustment, as only an independent 2-way damper adjustment allows real performance optimization.

 

Continuous lowering

 

The KW V4 coilover suspension enables maximum or individual lowering within the tested setting range. Thanks to the dirt-resistant trapezoidal thread and the polyamide threaded ring, the stepless lowering can be varied quickly and easily even after years.
