The Mopar original air filters in your vehicle are there to protect the engine of your Chrysler 300C. Without them, dirt and pollutants would make it difficult for your engine to operate properly and your air quality would suffer greatly.
The engine relies on air to cool it and generate energy, so it constantly consumes large amounts of air.
The engine air filter catches dirt and dust before it can get into the engine and cause damage.
If the filter is dirty or clogged, performance suffers. Carbon accumulates, less air enters the engine and misfiring occurs.
You may even notice that your fuel efficiency suffers.
