Original Mopar SRT Performance oil filter 5038041AA (MO-041)
This Mopar replacement oil filter was originally developed for the Dodge Viper, but is also used on other vehicles that use the factory oil filter with part number 4884899AC due to its better filtering properties.
In addition to the better filter material, the internal bypass is designed to open later than the 4884899AC oil filter.
This means that the engine oil is generally better filtered.
Note: Although this oil filter has better properties than the 4884899AC oil filter, it is only officially approved for the Dodge Viper.
Even if it can be installed without hesitation from a technical point of view, we cannot say how the manufacturer will assess this in the event of a warranty claim.
