Original Mopar SRT Performance oil filter 5038041AA (MO-041)
This Mopar replacement oil filter was originally designed for the Dodge Viper, but due to its superior filtering properties it is also used on other vehicles that use the factory oil filter part number 4884899AC.
In addition to the better filter material, the internal bypass is designed so that it opens later than with the oil filter 4884899AC.
This means that the engine oil is generally filtered better.
Note: Although this oil filter has better properties than the oil filter 4884899AC, it is officially only approved for the Dodge Viper.
Even if it can be installed without hesitation from a technical point of view, we cannot make any statement about how the manufacturer will assess this in the event of a warranty claim.
