This allows you the flexibility to change the performance and noise characteristics by switching from the spherical resonators to the quieter silencers to suit your ever-changing individual requirements.

The LoudMouth Cat-Back Exhaust System for the 2008-2014 Challenger 6.1L/6.4L HEMI SRT8 is now available in LoudMouth and LoudMouth II designs. The modular stainless steel cat-back system is so technologically advanced that you can change the performance and noise levels of your Challenger simply by replacing the included bullet resonators with milder SLP mufflers (part number 31067 ).

The SLP Sport Exhaust System consists of 3-inch mandrel-bent stainless steel tubing for unrestricted flow with an integrated 3.0-inch PowerFlo-X crossover pipe that bolts to the factory 2.75-inch downpipes.

The original square Challenger exhaust tips fit this exhaust system. All parts and installation instructions are included.

Important note for vehicles with cylinder deactivation:

Due to cylinder deactivation, the sound in 4-cylinder mode in conjunction with a sports exhaust (regardless of the manufacturer) is often perceived as “unsuitable”.
We can fix this by electronically disabling the cylinder deactivation.
The vehicle then always runs on all 8 cylinders and permanently has the desired V8 sound.
