Smoothboost boost pressure regulator

SmoothBoost is the first electronic bypass valve for retrofitting to Edelbrock superchargers.

This boost pressure control replaces the vacuum-controlled bypass valve with an electronically controlled precision valve that allows you to "smooth" the torque curve.
This control makes the driving behavior in the transition area to boost pressure much more predictable, the transition is no longer jerky.

The best thing is that you can easily limit the boost pressure as required using a rotary knob.
Assume that the boost pressure is a maximum of 15 PSI. In everyday life, you can then set it to 5 PSI or even 0 PSI, for example.
If you need more boost pressure, simply adjust the regulator and it is immediately available.

The Smoothboost system enables more controlled acceleration and riding, as the bypass valve opens and closes smoothly rather than jerkily.
The higher the boost pressure of your setup, the more you benefit from the improved drivability.
