Tazer JL Lite programming device for Jeep Wrangler & Gladiator

The Tazer JL Lite is an essential programming device/coding device for owners of the 2018+ Wrangler JL and Jeep Gladiator.
All engine and transmission variants are supported, including export models.

Simply remove the SGW module and insert the Tazer JL Lite in its place. It is located above the OBD2 diagnostic connector. To make removal and reinstallation easier when visiting a dealer, you can also install the SGW extension cable.

All functions are accessed via the instrument cluster and the steering wheel buttons for navigating the menus.

The features of the Tazer JL Lite can be divided into three categories:

• On the Vehicle settings is accessed with the engine off and ignition in the “RUN” position. These are changes that are made to the Jeep, such as: B. Tire size, gear ratio or settings that take other upgrades into account. These changes remain even if the Tazer JL Lite is disconnected from the car.
• On the Live features is accessed when the engine is switched on. These are operations that the Tazer JL Lite performs in real time, just while physically connected to the vehicle.
• “Non-menu” live features are not in a menu. They are activated automatically or with a steering wheel button combination. These are operations that the Tazer JL Lite only performs live when physically connected.

List of vehicle settings:

• Light show
  • 6 preset and 3 custom light shows that flash all outdoor lights
  • Perfect for car shows/first responders/off-road visibility - controlled via vehicle key or steering wheel buttons
  • Can be activated while driving for use in parades, off-road, and legal police or rescue applications
• Reading and displaying error codes system-wide or in specific modules
• Change tire size (speedometer adjustment)
• Change in gear ratio (max. 4.11 on 4XE)
• Change transfer case LOW ratio
• Activate/deactivate tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) system
• Adjust the TPMS pressure warning limit, front and rear, between 25psi and 85psi
• One-touch return-to-stock – quick “unmarry” function resets all settings to stock status

• Activate light show
• Set winch mode speed (except 4XE)
• Flashing lights to indicate tire pressure when refueling
• Dark Mode – Switching off all exterior lighting and the instrument cluster/radio/gear lever lighting when stationary with the engine running
• Activate and switch through the camera inputs
• Display the vacuum/boost indicator
• Activate 0-30 timer
• Activate 0-60 timer

List of “non-menu” live features

• Deactivate AutoStopStart - The Tazer JL Lite automatically remembers the last state of the automatic start/stop system and sets it again the next time the vehicle is started
• Disengage the stabilizer bar in 2WD mode up to 30 mph or at any speed when assigned to a button
• Cooldown mode – turns on the engine fans when necessary
• Winch Mode – increasing the idle speed to a freely selectable value between 1250 and 2000 (except 4XE)
• Line Lock - locks the front brakes for easy burnout
• Rock Crawl - locks all four brakes with a steering wheel button combination to keep the vehicle stationary, especially helpful off-road (except 4XE)
• Locking all four brakes in park to anchor the Jeep (shortcut) (except 4XE)
• Partial reboot
