Tazer JL Mini Programmer for Jeep Wrangler & Gladiator

The Tazer JL Mini is an essential programming device/encoding device for owners of the 2018+ Wrangler JL and Jeep Gladiator.
All engine and transmission variants are supported, including export models.

Simply remove the SGW module and insert the Tazer JL Mini in its place. It is located above the OBD2 diagnostic connector. To make removal and reinstallation easier when visiting a dealer, you can also install the SGW extension cable.

All functions are accessed via the instrument cluster and the steering wheel buttons for navigating the menus.

The functions of the Tazer JL Mini can be divided into three categories:

• On the Vehicle settings is accessed with the engine off and ignition in the “RUN” position. These are changes that are made to the Jeep, such as: B. Tire size, gear ratio or settings that take other upgrades into account. These changes remain even if the Tazer JL Mini is disconnected from the car.
• On the Live features is accessed when the engine is switched on. These are operations that the Tazer JL Mini performs in real time, just while physically connected to the vehicle.
• “Non-menu” live features are not in a menu. They are activated automatically or with a steering wheel button combination. These are operations that the Tazer JL Mini only performs live when it is physically connected.

• Enable/disable factory halo headlights (including BCM output for adding halos)
• Change headlight type (STD/LED)

• Change tail light type (STD/LED)/Delete sensor circuit for operation of aftermarket lights
• Change front turn signal type (Standard/LED)/delete sensor circuit for aftermarket headlights
• Activate/deactivate automatic high beam
• Enable/Disable Trailer Tow
• Deactivate electronic stabilizer (if removed from vehicle)
• Deactivating the electronic steering pump on hydraulic steering conversions
• Activating the trailer brake controller (mainly Gladiator)
• Disabling front and rear locks when changing axles
• Deactivating the front axle separation module when replacing an axle
• determine the presence of a powertrain control module (Rubicon transfer case).
• Enable/disable Aux buttons
• Enable/Disable Blind Spot Detection (when accessories are added or removed)
• Clearing the seat belt reminder tone
• Enable/Disable/Change ParkSense configuration
• Change instrument cluster splash screen - JL: Wrangler/Sahara/Rubicon JT: Sport/SportX/Rubicon
• Enabling the HVAC dual zone switch assembly when upgrading from a 5" radio

• Enable/disable auto-dimming mirrors after installation
• Enable Proximity Entry when handles and harnesses are installed
• Activate pickup bed outlet (Gladiator)
• Activation/deactivation of the automatic headlights after installing the sensors

• Deactivate AutoStopStart - The Tazer JL Mini automatically remembers the last state of the automatic start/stop system and sets it again the next time the vehicle is started
• AutoTracKill – The Tazer JL Mini automatically remembers the last traction control status and sets it for you the next time you start the vehicle
• Disengage the stabilizer bar in 2WD mode up to 30 mph or at any speed when assigned to a button
• License Plate Blanking (Gladiator) – The Tazer JL Mini automatically turns off the license plate lights when reversing or using TurnCam to reduce glare
• Activation of the loading area lighting / reversing lights via the key fob (Gladiator)
• Axle Locker Control (Rubicon, Mojave) – switches on the locks in 2WD and 4Hi if desired.
• Cooldown mode – turns on the engine fans when necessary
• Winch Mode – increasing the idle speed to a freely selectable value between 1250 and 2000 (except 4XE)
• Hood Alarm - monitors hood activity when the vehicle's anti-theft alarm is activated and triggers an alarm and light show when the hood is opened
• Line Lock - locks the front brakes for easy burnout
• Rock Crawl - locks all four brakes with a steering wheel button combination to keep the vehicle stationary, especially helpful off-road (except 4XE)
• Locking all four brakes in park to anchor the Jeep (shortcut) (except 4XE)
• TC Kill – turns off traction control, stability control and ABS (except 4XE)
• Show rear view camera (abbreviation)
• Turn Assist - blocks the inner rear tire for sharper cornering (button function only) (excl. 4XE)
• Reassignment of the +/-/RES buttons for the cruise control:

Fits:

European JLs are equipped with side mirror indicators that take the place of halos in the wiring. You cannot currently install Halos in European JLs.
