Tazer JL Mini programmer for Jeep Wrangler & Gladiator

The Tazer JL Mini is an essential programmer / coder for owners of the 2018+ Wrangler JL and Jeep Gladiator.
All engine and transmission variants are supported, including export models.

Simply remove the SGW module and insert the Tazer JL Mini in its place. It is located above the OBD2 diagnostic connector. You can also install the SGW extension cable to make removal and reinstallation easier when visiting the dealer.

All functions are accessed via the instrument cluster and the steering wheel buttons for navigating through the menus.

The functions of the Tazer JL Mini can be divided into three categories:

• To the Vehicle settings is accessed when the engine is switched off and the ignition is in the "RUN" position. These are changes that are made to the Jeep, such as tire size, transmission ratio or settings that take other upgrades into account. These changes are retained even if the Tazer JL Mini is disconnected from the car.
• To the Live functions is accessed when the engine is switched on. These are processes that the Tazer JL Mini carries out in real time, only while it is physically connected to the vehicle.
• "Non-menu" live functions are not located in a menu. They are activated automatically or with a steering wheel button combination. These are processes that the Tazer JL Mini only performs live when it is physically connected.

• Activate/deactivate automatic high beam

• Deactivate the electronic stabilizer (if removed from the vehicle)
• Deactivating the electronic steering pump for hydraulic steering conversions
• Activating the trailer brake control unit (mainly Gladiator)
• Deactivating the front and rear locks when changing axles
• Deactivating the front axle disconnect module when changing axles
• Determine the presence of a drivetrain control module (Rubicon transfer case)
• Activate/deactivate aux buttons

• Activating/deactivating/changing the ParkSense configuration

• Activating the HVAC dual zone switch assembly when upgrading from a 5-inch radio

List of "non-menu" live functions

• Deactivate AutoStopStart - The Tazer JL Mini automatically remembers the last state of the automatic start/stop system and resets it the next time the vehicle is started
• AutoTracKill - The Tazer JL Mini automatically remembers the last traction control status and sets it for you the next time you start the vehicle
• Decouple the stabilizer in 2WD mode up to a speed of 30 mph or at any speed if it is assigned to a button
• License plate blanking (Gladiator) - The Tazer JL Mini automatically switches off the license plate illumination when reversing or using TurnCam to reduce glare
• Activation of the cargo area lighting / reversing lights via the key fob (Gladiator)
• Axle Locker Control (Rubicon, Mojave) - activates the locks in 2WD and 4Hi on request.
• Cooldown mode - switches the motor fans on when required
• Winch mode - raising the idle speed to a freely selectable value between 1250 and 2000 (except 4XE)
• Hood alarm - monitors hood activity when the vehicle's anti-theft alarm system is activated and triggers an alarm and light show when the hood is opened
• Line Lock - locks the front brakes for an easy burnout
• Rock Crawl - locks all four brakes with a steering wheel button combination to keep the vehicle stationary, particularly useful off-road (except 4XE)
• Lock all four brakes in parking position to anchor the Jeep (shortcut) (except 4XE)
• TC Kill - switches off traction control, stability control and ABS (except 4XE)
• Show reversing camera (shortcut)
• Turn assist - locks the inner rear tire for sharper cornering (button function only) (excl. 4XE)
• Reassignment of the +/-/RES buttons for cruise control:

Fits:

European JLs are equipped with side mirror indicators, which take the place of the Halos in the wiring. You cannot currently install Halos in European JLs.
