Tazer JL Mini Programmer for Jeep Wrangler & Gladiator

The Tazer JL Mini is an essential programmer / coding tool for 2018+ Wrangler JL and Jeep Gladiator owners.
All engine and transmission variants are supported, including export models.

Simply remove the SGW module and plug in the Tazer JL Mini in its place. It is located above the OBD2 diagnostic connector. For easy removal and re-installation during dealer visits, you can additionally install the SGW extension cable.

Access to all functions is via the instrument cluster and steering wheel buttons to navigate through the menus.

The functions of the Tazer JL Mini can be divided into three categories:

• The Vehicle settings are accessed with the engine off and the ignition in the "RUN" position. These are changes made to the Jeep, such as tire size, gear ratio or settings that take into account other upgrades. These changes are retained even if the Tazer JL Mini is disconnected from the car.
• The Live functions are accessed when the engine is running. These are operations that the Tazer JL Mini performs in real time, only while physically connected to the vehicle.
• "Non-menu" live functions are not in a menu. They are activated automatically or with a steering wheel button combination. The Tazer JL Mini performs these operations only live when it is physically connected.

• Light show

• Activate/deactivate automatic high beam
• Enable/Disable Trailer Tow
• Deactivate the electronic stabiliser (if removed from the vehicle).
• Deactivating the electronic steering pump for hydraulic steering conversions
• Activating the trailer brake controller (mainly Gladiator)
• Deactivating the front and rear locks when changing axles
• Deactivating the front axle disconnect module when exchanging axles
• Determine the presence of a driveline control module (Rubicon transfer case).
• Activate/deactivate aux buttons
• Activate/deactivate blind spot detection (when accessories are added or removed)
• Deleting the Seatbelt Reminder Tone
• Activating/deactivating/changing the ParkSense configuration
• Change instrument cluster splash screen - JL: Wrangler/Sahara/Rubicon JT: Sport/SportX/Rubicon
• Activating the HVAC Dual Zone Switch Assembly when Upgrading from a 5" Radio
• Activate HomeLink if HomeLink visor and wiring harness are installed
• Activation/deactivation of the automatic dimming mirrors after installation
• Enable Proximity Entry when handles and harnesses are installed

• Switching the bonnet alarm on and off
• Activation of the passenger heater during remote start
• Flashing of the third brake light during braking
• Third brake light flashing pattern customised
• Set winch mode speed (except 4XE)
• Flashing lights to indicate tyre pressure when refuelling
• Dark Mode - Switching off all exterior lighting and instrument cluster/radio/shift lever lighting when stationary with the engine running.
• Activating and switching through the camera inputs

List of "non-menu" live functions

• AutoStopStart Deactivation - The Tazer JL Mini automatically remembers the last state of the automatic start/stop and sets it again the next time the vehicle is started.
• AutoTracKill - The Tazer JL Mini automatically remembers the last traction control status and sets it for you the next time you start the vehicle
• Disengage the stabiliser in 2WD mode up to 30 mph or at any speed when assigned to a button
• Number plate blanking (Gladiator) - The Tazer JL Mini automatically switches off the number plate illumination when reversing or using TurnCam to reduce glare.
• Activation of the load floor lighting / reversing lights via the key fob (Gladiator)
• Axle Locker Control (Rubicon, Mojave) - engages the locks in 2WD and 4Hi on demand.
• Cooldown mode - switches on the engine fans if required
• Winch Mode - Raising the idle speed to a freely selectable value between 1250 and 2000 (except 4XE)
• Bonnet alarm - monitors bonnet activity when the vehicle's anti-theft alarm is activated and triggers an alarm and light show when the bonnet is opened
• Line Lock - locks the front brakes for easy burnout
• Rock Crawl - locks all four brakes with a steering wheel button combination to hold the vehicle still, especially helpful off-road (except 4XE)
• Locking all four brakes in park position to anchor the Jeep (shortcut) (except 4XE).
• TC Kill - disables traction control, stability control and ABS (except 4XE).
• Show rear view camera (abbreviation)
• Turn assist - locks the inner rear tyre for sharper cornering (button function only) (excl. 4XE)
• Reassignment of the +/-/RES buttons for cruise control:

Fits:

European JLs are equipped with side mirror indicators that take the place of halos in the wiring. You cannot currently fit halos in European JLs.
