The Tazer RAM is a ram device for the RAM 1500

It works with all engine variants including diesel.
The vehicle must have the speedometer with a larger display, in which, for example, the radio stations can be displayed or with a colored display.

This fits the new RAM DT from model 2019 Tazer DT.
Simple, pluggable installation.

There are two types of functions – those that are permanently saved after ram and “live” functions.

All of these functions can be accessed via the instrument cluster, using the steering wheel buttons to navigate the menus.

Once the Tazer is “married” to the Ram , the following menus can be accessed. When the Tazer DT is no longer married to the vehicle, the settings are available again:

The Tazer RAM is a plug-in device for changing vehicle settings and providing some additional functions that were not available from the factory. It works on all engine variants, including the diesel engine. Requires the speedometer cluster that has the ability to display radio station information - only the older base model trucks can have the cluster, which cannot do this. All color displays work.

The functions of the Taser RAM can be divided into two categories:

– Vehicle settings – these are changes to the vehicle that are made to accommodate changes to the vehicle or to activate or “unlock” technically existing but factory-disabled features that are normally reserved for a higher trim level or package for that type of vehicle . These changes will remain in effect even after removing the Tazer RAM .

– Live functions – these are functions that the Tazer RAM performs under power, only when connected to the OBD2 port.

Vehicle settings:

• Calibrating the speedometer for non-factory tire sizes
• Configure the vehicle for a different axle ratio
• Can disable tire pressure monitoring system alerts or change PSI settings*
• Can activate/deactivate daytime running lights and user can select the lights to use (application dependent)
• May allow for addition of factory fog lights
• Can support LED lights
• Can deactivate fog light dropout (leave high and low beam headlights and fog lights on at the same time when flashing)
• Allows you to add a factory replacement camera and an aftermarket front camera*
• Can disable SiriusXM Travellink traffic and weather alerts
• Can enable auxiliary video/audio for front camera and/or external video source (2018s can only enable a cargo cam input)
• Can activate factory aux buttons, support adding power folding mirrors and more
• One-touch return-to-stock – Quick “unmarry” function returns all vehicle settings to their original state. There is no need to remember or write down the original settings if you do not reset everything before visiting the workshop

Live features:

• AutoFold – can automatically extend and retract electric folding mirrors when the vehicle is turned on and off
• Windows from Keyfob – can open and close electric windows with the remote control key
• Line Lock - Uses ABS actuators to lock the front wheels when wanting to do a burnout on the track or just for fun
• Can activate the entry of navigation addresses while driving
• Lightshow Mode - 6 preset and 3 custom light shows with all outdoor lights flashing. Perfect for car shows. Control via key fob or steering wheel buttons. Can be activated for parade, off-road and police/emergency use.
• Cooldown Mode: Turn on the engine fans when necessary when the ignition is on and the engine is not running
• Winch mode: Temporarily increase the engine to 2000 rpm when idling, for example when using a cable winch or when jump-starting another vehicle
• Spoof4Lo: raises the idle and switching points
• Clear CELs – reset the check engine light, clear the fault memory
• Disable ESP/traction control completely by pressing and holding the ESP button
• 0 to 30 and 0 to 60 Timers – Displays 0-30 or 0-60 times on the EVIC display
• Firmware updates – new firmware is available regularly, always free and published on the Z Automotive website. Use the ram ram .

*Tire psi setting requires dealer update for vehicle to recognize change. Disabling the TPMS system altogether and turning off the warning symbol does NOT require a visit to the dealer.

Fits:

Model year 2018 and newer: Due to a new security module, there is an additional Bypass T-Harness necessary.

Important: All changes involve functions that are already present in the vehicle at the factory, but are not always activated.
Since the software versions differ in the vehicles and changes sometimes occur as part of updates, we cannot guarantee that all functions can be set/activated as described in every vehicle.
If a function has not been stored at the factory, it cannot be activated.
