Open valve cover breather for Ford Mustang GT 4.6L and 5.0L

This valve cover breather is installed in place of the oil filler cap; no modifications to the vehicle are required.

The precision-machined spiral in the base of the housing fits exactly into the filler tube, and the seal is held in place by the O-ring supplied.

In turbocharged engines, combustion pressure inevitably enters the crankcase and this pressure contributes to power loss, increased oil temperatures and premature engine seal failure.
The air vent serves as a high-flow vent so that the resulting pressure can easily escape into the atmosphere.

This breather is equipped with a patented APV non-return valve so that the internal pressure can pass through, but no outside air can be sucked through the breather into the engine's intake tract.
This venting reduces the effectiveness of the vehicle's PCV system and is not emissions-compliant.
Your engine tuning will not be affected by the installation of this breather.

This valve cover breather is CNC-milled from aluminum and micro-machined on the outer surface.
