BORLA® ATAK® (Acoustically Tuned Applied Kinetics) exhaust systems are designed for high-performance purists who prefer to hear the exhaust of their Chevrolet Camaro SS rather than the stereo.
ATAK® exhaust systems deliver the highest dB values among the various Borla systems without sacrificing sound quality, as is often the case with other loud exhaust systems.
ATAK® technology is based on specially matched characteristics of the silencer cores, which are individually adjusted to each vehicle type to obtain the best sound.
Super aggressive, beefy loud US car sound. The system is definitely too loud for registration - but the vehicle has the sound that the true enthusiast expects.
Borla exhaust systems are manufactured from high-alloy T304 series stainless steels according to the American AISI standard.

Important note for vehicles with cylinder deactivation:
Due to cylinder deactivation, the sound in 4-cylinder mode is often perceived as "inappropriate" in conjunction with a sports exhaust (regardless of the manufacturer).
We can remedy this by electronically deactivating the cylinder deactivation.
The vehicle then always runs on all 8 cylinders and has the desired V8 sound permanently.
The exhaust system is more than worth the money! I had this exhaust system installed by a workshop. They confirmed that the installation and alignment went smoothly. Now for my first impressions... When you start the engine, the first thing you hear is a thunderstorm. The thing just sounds cool and deep. With the flap closed, the thing is as loud as the original NPP system with the flap open 😉 When the flaps are open, it's off! Especially under load, the thing roars so beautifully deep... unbelievable! You just have to experience it!
