The NGK Ruthenium HX was developed for newer engines that require high ignition performance.<\/p>\n

The dual fine electrode (DFE) design promotes concentration of spark energy and ignites in a wider range of air\/fuel ratios, providing improved performance in rich or lean engine conditions.<\/p>\n

The center electrode consists of a 0.4 mm thick ruthenium alloy and the ground electrode of a 0.8 mm thick platinum wire.
\nThe trivalent metal platinum offers excellent corrosion protection and anti-seizing properties.
\nCorrugated ribs prevent rollovers.
\nThe ceramic insulator made of pure aluminum oxide silicate ensures greater strength and better heat transfer.
\nCopper core helps with heat dissipation.<\/p>\n
