La correa trapezoidal es una larga correa de goma que corre a lo largo del motor de su veh\u00edculo y acciona muchos componentes importantes como el alternador, la bomba de la direcci\u00f3n asistida, el sistema de aire acondicionado y la bomba de agua.<\/p>\n

Para la mayor\u00eda de los veh\u00edculos, se recomienda hacer revisar la correa trapezoidal en cuanto el veh\u00edculo haya alcanzado los 60.000 kil\u00f3metros.
\nTambi\u00e9n es importante realizar inspecciones visuales y ac\u00fasticas de desgaste antes de alcanzar este kilometraje.<\/p>\n

En la mayor\u00eda de los veh\u00edculos, se recomienda sustituir la correa trapezoidal a los 90 kil\u00f3metros (independientemente de su aspecto) para reducir el riesgo de desgarro. Una correa trapezoidal rota puede ser peligrosa durante la conducci\u00f3n y causar graves da\u00f1os al motor.<\/p>\n

  • Desprendimiento de costillas (una o m\u00e1s costillas se han desprendido del cuerpo del cintur\u00f3n).<\/li>\n
  • Desgaste de costillas o correas<\/li>\n
  • Grietas en la direcci\u00f3n longitudinal de la correa (grietas entre dos costillas)<\/li>\n
  • Correderas<\/li>\n
  • \"Salto de ranura\" (la correa no mantiene la posici\u00f3n correcta en la polea)<\/li>\n
  • Rotura de la correa (nota: identifique y rectifique el problema antes de instalar una correa nueva).<\/li>\n
  • Ruidos (se puede o\u00edr o sentir un chirrido, chirrido o estruendo desagradable mientras la correa de transmisi\u00f3n est\u00e1 en funcionamiento).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Si se aprecia suciedad de aceite o refrigerante en la correa trapezoidal, \u00e9sta tambi\u00e9n debe sustituirse y deben eliminarse las fugas.<\/p>\n
