La sonda Lambda es un componente importante de los sistemas de escape modernos que se utiliza para controlar y regular la mezcla de combustible y aire en los motores de combusti\u00f3n con el fin de garantizar una combusti\u00f3n lo m\u00e1s eficiente y respetuosa posible con el medio ambiente.<\/p>\n

La sonda Lambda mide el contenido de ox\u00edgeno en el flujo de gases de escape del motor. Con ella se puede determinar si la mezcla de combustible y aire es \"rica\" (demasiado combustible, poco aire) o \"pobre\" (demasiado aire, poco combustible). El objetivo es lograr una relaci\u00f3n de mezcla ideal en la que la proporci\u00f3n de ox\u00edgeno en el sistema de escape y la cantidad de combustible inyectado se ajusten de forma \u00f3ptima.<\/p>\n

El sensor genera una tensi\u00f3n el\u00e9ctrica que var\u00eda en funci\u00f3n del contenido de ox\u00edgeno en los gases de escape. Esta tensi\u00f3n se transmite a la unidad de control del motor, que ajusta entonces la cantidad de inyecci\u00f3n y el suministro de aire para optimizar la relaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n
