Touring Edition Axleback exhaust systems

The AWE Touring Edition Axleback is a 3-inch construction made of T304L stainless steel with AWE's own drone-canceling function, the 180 Technology®.

The Touring Edition offers the ultimate experience for drivers who want to unleash the power of the 6.2L while maintaining drone-free interior acoustics at cruising speeds. Equipped with 180 Technology®, the Touring Edition responds spontaneously to the gas pedal and remains tame until provoked by the driver.

The Touring Edition Axleback comes complete with over-axle pipes, rear 180 Technology® resonators, four double-walled 4.5″ tailpipes in chrome silver or diamond black and all the mounting material required for installation.

Perfect sound: 180 Technology® from AWE

When the exhaust gases exit the Corvette's 6.2L engine and flow into a muffler equipped with AWE 180 Technology®, they pass through strategically placed openings into reflection chambers. The sound waves carried by the exhaust gases bounce off the walls of the reflection chambers. By controlling the size and position of the openings and the chambers, we also control when the sound waves exit the chambers. The specific timing at which the reflected sound waves re-enter the main exhaust stream results in a sound wave that is one hundred and eighty degrees out of phase, canceling out problematic frequencies. Call it science, call it magic, or call it 180 Technology® from AWE.

Track Edition Axleback exhaust systems

Raw, rowdy and light. The AWE Track Edition Axleback is the perfect dose of steel for riders looking for the loudest exhaust ever.

Retaining the 3-inch diameter T304L stainless steel construction, the Track Edition Axleback mirrors all the precision engineering and perfect fit of its Touring Edition counterpart, but without the 180 Technology®. Instead, the Track Edition has straight pipes without silencers to make a splash.

Important note:

The Track Edition is not for the faint-hearted. You don't even need to think about whether the system could be registrable. You will leave a lasting impression in any traffic check.

AFM valve simulators
(required for the Corvette Stingray / Z51 Auto / Z51 Manual (2014-2016) / Grand Sport Auto):

The AWE AFM valve simulators make it possible to equip vehicles with AFM valves with AWE Axleback exhausts without having to worry about the check engine light. Vehicles without AFM valves do not require the AFM valve simulators. Simply remove the AFM valve motors from the factory exhaust, bolt them onto the AWE AFM valve simulator and attach them securely to the vehicle.

After installation, the AFM valve motors retain their factory function and keep your vehicle's ECU happy.

AWE AFM valve simulators come as a set of two and require the use of the original actuators to attach the AFM motor to the AWE valve simulator plate.

Tailpipe options:

All tailpipes are finished with the AWE logo and a double wrap to ensure a mirror-like finish even under hard use. All tailpipes are individually adjustable so that the depth in the bumper can be set to personal taste.
