The friction surface of the slotted disc brake rotor is slotted.

The additional grooving was omitted in order to be able to offer a sports brake disc with quiet running characteristics.

The milled slots ensure that brake gases, abrasion, dirt and water can be almost completely removed from the friction surface of the brake discs.

The slots also ensure even and parallel wear of the brake pads over their entire service life.
