Mishimoto 83 degree thermostat to improve cooling for Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and RAM 5.7, 6.1 SRT, 6.2 Hellcat / Trackhawk / TRX and 6.4 SRT
The Mishimoto 83 degree thermostat is an ideal choice for 5.7 / 6.1 / 6.2 / 6.4 engines.
Compared to the original thermostat, which opens at 95 degrees, the 83 degree thermostat offers a further improvement in engine cooling.
To keep the coolant temperature permanently low even when driving slowly and when stationary, we also recommend adjusting the fan control. This reduces the switch-on temperatures of the electric fans and ensures efficient cooling.
The adjustment of the fan control is possible, for example, with the Diablosport Trinity and inTune possible.
Alternatively, we can also program the engine control unit in-house without these devices, which is significantly cheaper.
We can also adjust the tolerance threshold for error code P0128 if it is set.
