Parking Release / Shift Lock made of Aluminium as a Replacement for the Original Part made of Plastic
The gearbox on your Chrysler 300C, Pacifica, Dodge Charger or Magnum is stuck in "P"? Here you will find the solution.
The required part is also available under the name "Pinky" and "Pink Thingy" known.
If the selector lever of the automatic gearbox can no longer be moved out of the "P" position or if it is no longer possible to select gears, a plastic part in the gearshift module has often broken off.
The workshop usually replaces the complete switch module.
Experience shows that this defect occurs most frequently when it is very warm again for the first time after winter or when the vehicle has been exposed to strong sunlight.
Our replacement part not only fixes the problem, but also prevents it from recurring.
This part is the aluminium injection moulding version.
