Cometic 5-layer cylinder head gaskets 5.7 Hemi for Chrysler 300C, Dodge Challenger, Charger, Durango Magnum, Jeep Commander, Grand Cherokee and RAM
Cometic MLX gaskets consist of several layers of stainless steel, as this has greater strength, resilience and corrosion resistance.
The outer layers of the gaskets are embossed and coated on both sides with Viton - a material based on fluoroelastomer rubber that is heat-resistant up to 250 °C. Viton is designed to meet the requirements of a wide range of harsh sealing environments, load conditions and surface finishes.
The middle layer or intermediate layer is an uncoated stainless steel layer that is folded back on itself to form the locking part of the bore seal.
