Ported throttle body for Chrysler 300C, Dodge Challenger, Charger, Durango, Magnum, Jeep Commander, Gladiator, Grand Cherokee, Wrangler, RAM
The ported throttle body is based on original parts that have been enlarged in diameter by CNC machining. A variable size within the throttle body achieves the Venturi effect, which results in a higher air flow rate and improved response.
The best thing is that no modifications to the vehicle are required, as the OEM throttle body is used as the basis.
In addition, it is not visible from the outside and there are no electronic problems, as the original servomotor is still used.
Advantages of a ported throttle valve:
- More power & torque
The enlarged cross-section and smoothed air ducts allow more air to flow into the engine at a higher speed.
This can lead to a noticeable increase in power and torque - especially in the lower and medium speed range. - Faster response behavior
The improved air supply means that the engine reacts more quickly to accelerator pedal movements. - Better efficiency of the air supply
By reducing flow losses, the motor works more efficiently. - OEM-compatible & plug-and-play
The original throttle valve is converted, i.e. all sensors and actuators are retained. - No modification to the PCM or adaptation of the peripherals necessary.
- Unchanged external appearance
As the housing remains original, the modification is hardly noticeable from the outside - good for people who prefer inconspicuous tuning.

Note: as the old design is currently not available, you will receive the new design together with an adapter cable. Together with the adapter cable, the new throttle valves are fully compatible with the old version.
Between 2012 and 2013, the design of the throttle valves for the 8-cylinder models with 5.7 and 6.4 liter engines changed.
